Gallery G

On Immunity ends with the image of community as a garden. As Biss describes it, “This garden is unbounded and unkempt, bearing both fruit and thorns. Perhaps we should call it a wilderness. Or perhaps community is sufficient. However we choose to think of the social body, we are each other’s environment. Immunity is a shared space–a garden we tend together” (163).

Trinity University is also a shared space, a garden that has been tended together by students, staff, and faculty for 150 years. Students were invited to share a picture that represents one of the gifts they bring to share with the Trinity community. This gallery represents their responses to the prompt.
